Tis the season to mess up your workout schedule! Between family visiting, traveling, and the chaos of the holiday season, it can become difficult to stay consistent with your training. To help make things a little easier for you this holiday season, I have put together three different workouts you could do in the comfort of your own home to stay on track… and maybe even avoid the in-laws for a little while.
The goal of each workout is to finish in roughly 15-20 minutes with minimal rest between each exercise and set. Perform anywhere from 2-5 sets of each exercise in a circuit fashion (one exercise after the other).
Bodyweight Workout
Air squats x20
Pushups x5-20
V- ups (or deadbug) x20
Glute bridges x20
Turkish get up (or punch crunch)
1 DB or KB Workout
KB swings (or DB jump squats) x5-10
Goblet split squat x10/10
Overhead carry x 30 seconds each side
Weight transfer plank x45 seconds
1 Leg RDL x10/10
2 point rows x10/10
Ab Blaster
Mountain Climbers x30 seconds
Side Plank x30 seconds each side
Hollow Hold x30 seconds
Eagle Sit Ups x30 seconds
These workouts are also great to take on the road with you any time of year when you’re on vacation.
